Kellogg's Answers.

I still can't, and won't, reveal my source for providing me with the news of Kellogg's offering gluten free cereal but as most of you know, my source was spot on. Since I had come out with the news before Kellogg's made an announcement, I was surprised to see an e-mail in my inbox last week from a press representative from Kellogg's.

REVIEW: Glutenfreeda Gluten Free Instant Oatmeal

on Tuesday, 08 March 2011. Posted in Gluten Science

Gluten Free Instant Oatmeal is hit!

One thing that I missed a lot when after being diagnosed was the easy of throwing a packet of oatmeal in a bowl with some boiling water and voila! breakfast was done. Then I recently purchased some Glutenfreeda Instant Oatmeal. Much to my delight, it's awwwwwesome and easy. Because let's be honest, sometimes easy is ALL you want in the morning and cereal needs a break from time to time.

Jules Shepard Makes Gluten Free Pop-Tarts

Last week, after my SUPER exciting news about Kellogg's Rice Krispies going gluten free (which I can confirm will be on your grocery shelves in June 2011), I asked my Gluten Free Appetite readers which Kellogg's item you would most like to see go gluten free. The answer was an overwhelming "POP-TARTS!".

MANY of you have asked about the nutritional information and ingredients so I snapped another pick and broke it all down for you! I can also say that I'm about 90% sure Kellogg's gluten free products (at least the cereal(s)) will likely be available in June.

More cereal... Hooray!

If you've been following my blog, you know by now that cereal is a favorite food of mine. So much so I have been known to eat cereal for dinner every now and then because I just can't wait until the morning!

Gluten Free Corn Flakes Face-Off

on Monday, 31 January 2011.

Are they all the same? Nope.

Breakfast is arguably my favorite meal. And I am a creature of nature so I eat mostly the same thing every single morning. Half a bowl of gluten free corn flakes, half a bowl of Rice Chex and Almond Breeze Original Milk poured over.

Post Cereals to offer gluten free!

Because cereal is my favorite meal.

Breakfast (and cereal) are my favorite meal of the day. I know that's sort of odd but I look forward to my cereal concoctions every single morning (with my almond breeze milk). So when I saw in the headlines today that Post Foods is lowering sugar content AND making Fruity and Cocoa Pebbles certified gluten free... well, you can imagine my excitement.

Chex® for Breakfast

on Tuesday, 26 October 2010. Posted in Recommended

Creature of habit.

I eat the same exact breakfast every single morning (well, almost). A bowl of one of the many assortments of Gluten Free Chex. My personal favorites are Honey Nut and Cinnamon.

• Chocolate Chex®

• Cinnamon Chex®

• Corn Chex®

• Honey Nut Chex®

• Rice Chex®

I also mix it with some Nature's Path Mesa Sunrise Flakes. Pour over Original Almond Breeze Milk and you've got yourself one tasty, healthy breakfast.
