Exciting news! al fresco products are now gluten free! I particularly find this bit of news really exciting because it's just another mainstream, grocery store brand that I can buy! And it's chicken sausage - which is the only kind I'll eat from time to time. What is your favorite gluten free sausage brand?

Elisabeth brings gluten free cooking to the show

Elisabeth Hasselbeck, whether you love her or hate her, brings gluten free in to the spotlight as much as she can, which in the end, is a good thing. Yesterday, she had Celebrity chefs Cat Cora, Ming Tsai and Marcus Samuelson stop by the View to share some gluten free recipe love.

Is it, or isn't it, an allergy?

So yesterday I posted a video that was aired on Good Morning America about Celiac Disease. I saw a HUGE outcry across Facebook and Twitter about it because the Dietician, Keri Glassman, said that Celiac Disease was an "allergy". (Cue horror music). Now, as most of us know, Celiac Disease is an auto-immune disorder where our bodies essentially attack itself when gluten is consumed. (You can see the video below if you haven't already). But is possible that C.D. is both an allergy AND an auto-immune disorder?

GFA got the insider information

EXCITING NEWS on my favorite subject... CEREAL!! Kellogg's will announce some exciting news within the next 6 months (or so). They will be debuting a line of gluten free cereals and snacks. Yep, that's right. Rice Krispies will be made with brown rice and reportedly will be certified gluten free. (Gotta keep up with General Mills).
